Case studies

Every client I work with faces a genuinely unique challenge. Blogs stall, programmatic pages underconvert, rankings slip. But underneath the surface patterns, each situation is its own. So I start by deeply understanding the customer, the journey, and the competitive landscape, and only then design the strategy that specific challenge requires. That discipline is why the results below look the way they do.

Client names are withheld out of respect for confidentiality. I'm happy to share specifics in a conversation.

Telehealth nutrition network

Healthcare · Marketplace2024–2025

A nationwide network of registered dietitians who take insurance.

The situation

Growth needed to come from new patients booked through organic search. The site had three distinct surfaces: a programmatic "find a specialist" directory, thousands of individual provider profiles, and a blog. Each had its own problem, so each got its own strategy.

What I did

For the directory, I built the programmatic infrastructure: the page template, the data structure, and the on-page system that lets one template generate many high-intent pages. For the provider profiles, I combined on-page work with local search visibility. For the blog, I designed and rolled out an AI-assisted content workflow in January 2025, with human expert review on every piece.

Provider profiles · monthly sessions

~7,500 ~110,000

Bookings from this surface grew ~200 → ~880 per month.

Directory · monthly sessions

~500 ~3,000

~117 bookings per month from the initial build alone, before scaling.

TakeawayThe infrastructure is what drives this. Build it once, prove it, then scale.

Weight-loss app

Consumer health · App

A leading weight-loss app whose organic traffic and signups had been declining for 3+ years.

The situation

A previous vendor had mass-produced over 1,300 low-quality articles. The volume ranked for a while. Then Google's quality updates hit, and the site lost ~70% of organic pageviews and signups from its peak. Conversion rate sat at 0.34%.

What I did

First, stop the bleeding: an in-depth content audit, de-indexing the worst-performing posts, and critical on-site fixes. Then a new production process that published only high-quality, high-purchase-intent content built to exceed Google's E-E-A-T guidelines (its standards for expertise, authority, and trustworthiness).

TakeawayQuality beats volume, and the numbers prove it: 94 articles outperformed 1,300.

Equity-planning fintech

Fintech · B2C

A startup that helps tech employees exercise their stock options.

The situation

The company needed organic search to produce signups, not just readers, in a niche where generic content goes nowhere.

What I did

I ran 1:1 customer interviews and found the inflection point in the journey: employees who waited too long to exercise their options before an IPO could lose a shocking share of their gains to taxes. We built 19 articles around that pitfall and everything leading up to it.

TakeawayOne real customer insight outperforms a hundred generic keywords.

Behavior-analytics SaaS

B2B SaaS

A product-analytics platform struggling to rank for the topics that mattered most.

What I did

We created multi-chapter "mega-guides" covering their core topics end to end, structured for both readers and search engines.

Top 1–3

Rankings held on brutally competitive short-tail terms

100K+

Visitors per month from evergreen mega-guides

10,000+

Backlinks earned, still compounding

TakeawayEvergreen depth compounds: one investment, years of returns.
